Difference between SDS100 & SDS200 (Video is Below)

The Uniden SDS100 and SDS200 are both police scanners, but they have some key differences:

Design and Form Factor:

SDS100: This model is handheld and portable, designed for on-the-go use with a dedicated battery pack.

SDS200: The SDS200 is a base model meant for stationary use. It requires AC power and lacks a built-in battery.

Audio Quality:

Some users report that the SDS100 has a slightly “tinny” sound due to its smaller speaker size. The SDS200, with its larger speaker, generally provides better audio quality.

Streaming Options:

The SDS200 has a LAN port, allowing remote streaming through third-party software. This feature is not available on the SDS100.

Antennas:

The SDS100 comes with an SMA to BNC adapter, allowing use of existing BNC antennas.

If you want portability, go for the SDS100; for better audio quality and base station use, consider the SDS200. Both models offer similar features, so choose based on your specific needs! 📻👍
