Jeff Adams (Copemish, US) I purchased the BC125AT for monitoring emergency communications locally. I have never owned a scanner, and should have paid more attention to the analog/digital aspect. I was able to program it with some effort, but did not know why I could not receive local EMS. I called the Uniden helpline, and they explained to me that it would not work for me. Unfortunately I had to send it back. Good customer service, and quick shipping.

The scanner was being used by an adult with developmental disabilities. When she called for assistance in entering codes, the person on the other end was very patient and walked her step-by-step through what to do! Uniden is a great product, I’m glad I purchased the BC125AT just to listen to first responders as I am one myself. It does a good job with a wide range of analog frequencies. Programming was easy after I watch it on YouTube and utilizing my desktop to program the scanner. Now I just wish I had the budget to buy a digital and analog scanner.
