Fig (Los Angeles, US) Have a BC-210XLT programmable scanner that original antenna finally broke years ago. Scanner NOT listened for this antenna but appears similar to original. Ordered it and it was loose not remaining in a vertical position. Pushing plastic grommet towards whip provided better fit, but still loose. Wrapped electrical tape around plastic grommet made for secure fit. UHF Image interference (common to earlier Uniden programmables) was significantly reduced with this antenna. Back in business.
