Fantastic! Works like magic! Gps mod GPS Dongle (CB-GPSK) 996P2 Scanner GPS GPS
D
D. (Shingletown, US) The title says it all...this GPS Unit really is fantastic!
1. Be sure to change your Baud Rate from 4800 to 9600 via the GPS Settings on your SDS100 Scanner.
2. It takes less than one minute to properly connect the pieces and plug it in to a 12v "cigarette lighter" in your vehicle. Then, you simply drive around and the GPS Unit AUTOMATICALLY inputs new frequencies that become available as you travel about. Works Perfectly for me! It's the coolest little gadget!
3. After you automatically receive new frequencies for your Scanner, you can either temporarily or permanently AVOID any unwanted frequencies.
Highly Recommend!

Steven Fleming (Salt Lake City, US) Came as advertised, works well
J
Jim Menard (Bruce, US) Works as designed… highly recommend this for anyone on the go! Initial installation was straightforward, only that the my 996 didn’t connect to it. Changed Baud Rate, tried another 996, finally tested power at plug, determined no power was the culprit all along. (Bad connection in 12vdc port). The instructions are a bit vague, not much information on the web either. Again, I highly recommend this GPS Dongle!
R
Roy Hamilton (San Jose, US) The GPSK BC-SGPS I obtained has worked very well identifying where I am so my scanner can use the appropriate channels for that area
D
Daryl Widholm (Lexington, US) i think it works well the speaker in the SDS100 is a little hard to hear in the TRK when going down the road sitting still it sounds ok
